What you will learn

Practice this visual check: First determine the scope of the slanted window and then focus on aligning the bottom of the cargo box with the direction of the chassis.

Shapes and proportions

A square opening with rounded corners and an upper right chamfer is used to define the cab. Two oval eyes are placed in the slanted window, and a smiling mouth is added below; the round wheels on both sides are connected to the chassis, and a large rectangular cargo box is stacked behind it.

A common mistake

With your eyes outside the car window, the cargo box is likely to be much lower than the cab.

How to fix it

First determine the scope of the slanted window and then focus on aligning the bottom of the cargo box with the direction of the chassis.

These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.
