Together is a good place to start

A drawing activity.
With room for a conversation.

01

Let them choose.

Ask what they feel like drawing today. An idea they care about is a lovely starting point.

02

Be curious, too.

“Where does your shark live?” can open up a whole story. There’s more to talk about than staying inside the lines.

03

Celebrate the making.

Look back at their Creation Replay or flip through a picture book together. Notice a detail they tried for the first time.

A little ritual to make your own

Make a page.
Tell a story.
Turn the page.

Try a short drawing session together. A guide can help with the first shape; the colors and the story are theirs to choose.

Good to know

Keep it simple.

Can we draw together on paper?

Yes. You can watch a drawing guide on the iPad and try the idea on paper, or use LittlePaper’s in-app canvas and tracing tools.

What if my child’s drawing looks different?

That’s part of making something. Pause or replay a step when useful, then leave room for their own proportions, colors and details.

Is a subscription required?

Some app features are available through in-app purchases. Current access and pricing are shown in the app and on the App Store.

Where can I ask about the app?

Visit our Help & contact page to email LittlePaper support. A grown-up can include their device and app version so we can help.

A little beginning. A big “I did it.”

What will you
make today?

A drawing, a splash of color, a story.
Let the next little idea begin.
