What you will learn

Practice this visual check: First draw the two concentric wheels to the same height, and then connect the horizontally long cargo box and vertically long cab along the top of the wheels.

Shapes and proportions

First determine the position of the wheels in the two concentric circles at the front and rear. A vertically long cab is drawn on the front wheel, and a horizontal rectangular cargo box is connected to the rear, connected by a chassis line, and the horizontal lines are repeated inside the box.

A common mistake

The vertical and horizontal lines of the cargo box are skewed, or the front and rear wheels are larger and smaller, which will cause the chassis to become unbalanced.

How to fix it

First draw the two concentric wheels to the same height, and then connect the horizontally long cargo box and vertically long cab along the top of the wheels.

These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.
