What you will learn
Practice this visual check: Use the larger hind legs to bear weight first, then add short forearms and curved paws to the chest.
Shapes and proportions
The long and narrow mouth consists of upper and lower short arcs. Connect the long flat back and upturned tail to the right, use a broken line to separate the bent knees and hind legs under the abdomen, and add two short front paws to the chest.
A common mistake
The forearms are drawn as thick and long as the hind legs, and the posture will be like a quadruped.
How to fix it
Use the larger hind legs to bear weight first, then add short forearms and curved paws to the chest.
These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.
A few things to start with

The Velociraptor's trunk and front limbs are green, its claws are brown, and its teeth are milky white. Apply the color first with light pressure, leaving the black outline, and then compare pairs of parts using the same color.
