What you will learn
Practice this visual check: First encircle a whole piece of raised dorsal sail, and then compare the length and opening direction of the upper and lower jaws.
Shapes and proportions
Two long, narrow curves form an open mouth. The dorsoventral line extends to the left to form the body and tail, a semi-arched sail is folded on the back, the hind legs are folded out under the abdomen, and small claws are added to the chest.
A common mistake
If the dorsal sail is drawn with scattered back spines, or the upper and lower edges of the mouth are not connected evenly, the characteristics will be lost.
How to fix it
First encircle a whole piece of raised dorsal sail, and then compare the length and opening direction of the upper and lower jaws.

Select the color of the part to complete the crayon draft
The trunk and limbs of Spinosaurus are green, the dorsal sail is orange, and the abdomen is creamy yellow. Apply the color first with light pressure, leaving the black outline, and then compare pairs of parts using the same color.
