What you will learn

Practice this visual check: First connect the sides under the base of the triangle, and then draw the oval plate to the back of the entire pie.

Shapes and proportions

First draw a wide triangle as the face. A layer of trapezoidal thickness is connected to the bottom edge, wavy pie crust is added to the back edge, swirled cream is placed on the top, and then wrapped in an oval plate.

A common mistake

The pie slice has no side thickness, or the edge of the pie slice goes through the buttercream, making it look like a flat pattern.

How to fix it

First connect the sides under the base of the triangle, and then draw the oval plate to the back of the entire pie.
