What you will learn
Practice this visual check: Arrange the nail pieces along the curved surface of the back, and place the round tail hammer at the end of the tail instead of the base.
Shapes and proportions
The small arc head is positioned on the left side first. The large arch line surrounds the low and long back, and the abdominal line is closed; the four legs are downward, with an oval hammer added to the tail end, and the carapace is arranged repeatedly along the arc.
A common mistake
The small pieces of the carapace are of random size, and the tail hammer is connected to the middle of the tail.
How to fix it
Arrange the nail pieces along the curved surface of the back, and place the round tail hammer at the end of the tail instead of the base.
These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.

Select the color of the part to complete the crayon draft
Ankylosaurus has green body and four legs, brown carapace and tail, and creamy yellow horns and toenails. Apply the color first with light pressure, leaving the black outline, and then compare pairs of parts using the same color.
