What you will learn

Practice this visual check: The fold lines gather from the edge of the cup to the bottom of the cup, and the three round eyes are separated laterally along the inside of the frosting.

Shapes and proportions

First draw the outline of the large U-shaped paper cup. The wavy lines and vertical strips separate the paper cup and cream. Repeat the small water droplets along the ring on the top, and add round eyes and serrated mouth.

A common mistake

The vertical pleats of the paper cup are all squeezed into the center, and the three eyes are easy to overlap.

How to fix it

The fold lines gather from the edge of the cup to the bottom of the cup, and the three round eyes are separated laterally along the inside of the frosting.

These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.
