What you will learn
Practice this visual check: First draw two main branches, then add short branches in sequence, and finally check the four hooves with the same baseline.
Shapes and proportions
Determine the head direction first for the small profile profile. The head is branched from two long branches to form antlers; the two neck lines are connected to the horizontal body, the four legs are downward, and a collar is added to the side of the neck.
A common mistake
The antlers are forked and bunched together, and the four legs often fall at different heights.
How to fix it
First draw two main branches, then add short branches in sequence, and finally check the four hooves with the same baseline.
These three images are key-stage previews: the starting shape, the completed outline, and a new crayon color study. Follow the complete drawing sequence in LittlePaper. On paper, leave room around the first shape for the parts added later.
A few things to start with
Paper, pencil or black drawing pen, eraser, and crayons or colored pencils for color matching for this lesson.

Connect profiles and arrange parts
The antlers are formed from two long branches on the head; the two neck lines are connected horizontally to the body, the four legs are downward, and a collar is added to the side of the neck. First draw two main branches, then add short branches in sequence, and finally check the four hooves with the same baseline.

Select the color of the part to complete the crayon draft
The body of the reindeer is brown with four legs, the belly and neck are milky brown, the antlers are dark brown, the hooves are dark brown, and the collar is red with bells and gold. Apply the color first with light pressure, leaving the black outline, and then compare pairs of parts using the same color.
